Inventory

Products, stock levels, transfers, and assets.

Inventory holds what you buy, sell and own — stock items with real quantities, plus an asset register for the equipment your team uses. Stock is not a number you maintain by hand: it moves when orders are delivered and when purchases are received.

Products

  • SKU, name, category and unit of measure (unit, box, kg, case).
  • Selling price and cost price, used for margin and for valuing what you hold.
  • On-hand quantity — the live number, changed by deliveries and goods receipts rather than typed in.
  • Reorder minimum and maximum, which drive the low-stock warnings on the dashboard.
  • Tracking — none, by lot, or by serial number, for items you must trace individually.

How stock actually moves

  • A sales order marked Delivered decreases on-hand by the quantities on the order.
  • A purchase order receipt increases on-hand by the quantities received.
  • Transfers move stock between warehouses without changing the total you own.

Equipment and assets

The asset register tracks company equipment and who holds it. Assets are typed as laptop, desktop, monitor, phone, tablet, printer, workstation, server, switch or firewall, each with its own tag prefix, and carry serial number, manufacturer, model, purchase date and condition notes.

  • Assignments link an asset to an employee, with issue date and return condition.
  • The equipment importer maps a spreadsheet of kit to employees by name and skips devices already on the register, so a re-import does not double your asset count.
Low-stock items appear on the dashboard and are picked up by the inventory AI agent, which estimates days-to-empty from your own sales rate.
