Sales
Quotations, orders, products, and subscriptions.
Sales runs the chain from a quote to a shipped, invoiced order. Each step hands off to the next automatically, which is where most of the platform's value sits: accepting a quote, delivering an order and invoicing it all move real data in Inventory and Accounting.
The chain, step by step
- 1Quotation — pick a customer, set issue and expiry dates, and add line items. Choosing a product fills its price automatically and shows current stock, so you never quote something you cannot ship.
- 2Make order — an accepted quotation becomes a sales order carrying the same line items. Nothing is re-keyed.
- 3Delivered — moving the order to Delivered reduces on-hand stock by the quantities on the order, exactly once.
- 4Invoice — one click raises an invoice from the order, carrying the lines and noting which order it came from.
Order statuses
- Pending — created, not yet confirmed.
- Confirmed — agreed with the customer.
- Delivered — goods have gone out; this is the status that moves stock.
- Completed — closed out.
- Cancelled — no stock movement and no invoice.
Beyond one-off orders
- Contracts and subscriptions for recurring commitments.
- Targets for per-period sales goals.
- Commissions calculated against closed business.
Quotation and order references are allocated per workspace and never collide with the numbers Invoicing or Purchasing issue.
