Notifications & announcements

Two different things arrive in the bell menu: notifications your own workspace generates, and announcements sent by the platform.

Notifications

• Raised by automation rules when a record matches their conditions.
• Carry a title and body built from the record that triggered them, so the alert names the actual deal or invoice.
• Each rule fires at most once per record per event, so editing the same record repeatedly does not spam you.

Announcements

Announcements are broadcast messages. Your own admins can post one to your workspace; platform-wide announcements reach every workspace and are used for maintenance windows and release notes.

Activity trails

Records keep their own history. Notes logged against an invoice, a deal or a ticket stay attached to that record, so the context sits with the thing it is about rather than in someone's inbox.
